Bahrain Tops Arab Nations With Most Medals At 2024 Paris Olympics!

In a dazzling display of athletic talent, Bahrain has emerged as the top medal winner among Arab countries at the Paris 2024 Olympics! The Kingdom’s athletes have truly made their mark on the world stage, securing a total of four medals and showcasing their incredible talent and dedication!

Bahrain secured medals in athletic, weightlifting, and wrestling categories!

Ahmad Taj Eddin won the gold medal in the 97kg wrestling category, followed by Gor Minasyan securing a bronze win in the over 201kg weightlifting category!

The girls also bought home the wins for the Women’s 400m and 3000m steeplechase!

Winfred Yavi took home the Gold for her 3000 meter steeplechase, and was even given a major shoutout by Snoop Dogg! Salwa Eid also made the Kingdom boast with excitement after her 400m silver win!

The Kingdom couldn’t be more proud, and everyone’s celebrating!

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, extended heartfelt congratulations to His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), Chairman of the General Sports Authority (GSA), and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee. This accolade celebrates Bahrain’s remarkable achievement of winning four medals at the Paris 2024 Olympics, including the prestigious gold in the men’s freestyle wrestling 97kg competition.

Prince Salman expressed immense pride in Team Bahrain’s outstanding performance, attributing their success to the unwavering support and guidance of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

These wins have put Bahrain at number 1 in Arab countries and number 6 in Asia!
