Bahrain has strict laws regarding drug offenses

As of 1959, the law states that no individual or group may procure, possess, sell, or supply dangerous drugs unless authorized by the Government Medical Department, State Hospitals, State Dispensaries, American Mission Hospital, Bahrain Petroleum Company Hospital, or other entities licensed by the Health Department. The case serves as a reminder of the serious consequences of drug-related offenses in the Kingdom, where the legal system prioritizes public safety and upholds the law against illegal drug activities.
