Here Are The 28 Bahrain Mosques That’ll Host Friday Prayers This Month

If you’ve ever tried to find a spot for Friday prayers during Ramadan, you know the struggle is real! Between the sun beating you down and the crowds, things can get pretty packed.

The Sunni Endowments Directorate has just announced that 28 mosques across the Kingdom will be temporarily converted into congregational mosques (Jamea) specifically for the Holy Month of Ramadan

According to Shaikh Dr. Rashid bin Mohammed Al Hajri, Chairman of the Sunni Endowments Council, the goal is to make sure everyone has a serene and comfortable environment to pray. By opening these extra spots, they’re easing the pressure on the major congregational mosques and making Friday prayers more accessible for families in every neighborhood.
