Kingdom of Bahrain Announces Hijri New Year Holiday

In a recent announcement, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Bahrain, declared a public holiday to mark the Hijri New Year.

According to the official circular, all ministries and public institutions in Bahrain will be closed on July 7 corresponding to Muharram 1, 1446 AH. This decision allows citizens to observe and celebrate the beginning of the Islamic New Year, providing a long weekend break for the nation’s workforce!
