LMRA Conducts 1,411 Inspection Campaigns and Visits in Bahrain

Bahrain continues to uphold its strict regulations concerning visa and labor laws within the Kingdom. In recent efforts, the Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) has intensified its inspection campaigns to ensure compliance with the nation’s legal framework.

Extensive inspection campaigns have unveil law breaches recently

The LMRA recently conducted 1,411 inspection campaigns and visits across various governorates in Bahrain. These operations, carried out between June 23 and July 6, 2024, aimed to uncover breaches of labor and residency laws.

As a result of these inspections, numerous violations were discovered. A total of 115 workers were found in breach of the LMRA and Residency Laws. Legal actions have been initiated against these individuals, with further steps being taken to address these violations.

The breakdown and importance of these Inspection Campaigns

The LMRA’s efforts included 22 joint campaigns across the Governorate, that were conducted in collaboration with various government agencies that ensured a comprehensive approach to enforcement.

 

These inspection campaigns have been crucial in maintaining the stability and competitiveness of Bahrain’s labor market. They also play a significant role in safeguarding the economic and social security of the country!
