Big news coming your way – Russia has decided to alter its visa requirements, and it’s now all in favour for those coming all the way from Bahrain, Oman and Saudi Arabia.
The Scoop
Dmitry Volvach, Deputy Minister of Economic Development, made the statement to a Russian news agency, saying that Russia wants to make traveling a breeze for folks coming in from these countries, alongside from Malaysia and Myanmar.
Boosting Tourism & Building Bridges
As Russia waives visa requirements for five new countries, they’re hoping to bring in more tourists, making it easier for them to travel in and out of the country.
This proposition was brought up in September 2023, and has only been approved as of today.
