Anyone who’s lived in Bahrain for a while knows just how much the island has transformed since the 1980s. The good old days, as shown in Retro Manama, are proof of how far it’s come!
But a recent post on X took things to a whole new level, showing just how much the northeastern region of Bahrain has flourished over the past 35 years.

The population has soared from 400,000 to a whopping 1.5 million, and the land area has expanded from 665 km² to 780 km², thanks to land reclamation projects.
