Although Bahrain is famously known as a small island, it has transformed over the years in significant ways. Just a few months ago, this picture of the island’s expansion went absolutely viral across the internet.

This pic was a throwback from 1981 to today, of the Intercontinental Regency. Although the photo is 42 years apart, the Kingdom was definitely able to maintain the old structure, while adding a quick modern-touch.
