The University of Bahrain recently hosted an inspiring session with Emirati astronauts Dr. Sultan bin Saif Al Neyadi and Mr. Hazzaa Ali Al Mansouri during the sixth International Space Forum. Held under the theme “Space as a Driver for Diplomacy and Economic Development,” the event provided audiences and students with valuable insights and inspiration!
The event was a platform for young minds to draw inspiration from their successful space missions.
His Excellency Fahad Mohammed bin Kharbash Al Ameri, UAE Ambassador to Bahrain, emphasised the shared interest in future sciences and space sector development, encouraging careers in this growing field.

The official forum was held at the Gulf Convention Centre, but the astronauts made sure they made a very special stop at the university!
The forum marked a significant milestone for the region’s space industry! Clay Mowry, President of the International Astronautical Federation, expressed optimism about the forum’s potential to turn space dreams into reality, with a focus on education and regional cooperation.
