A New Flyover Project Will Link Shaikh Isa Bridge To Busaiteen

Get ready for smoother commutes! The Works Ministry is kicking off construction on a brand-new flyover that will link Shaikh Isa bin Salman Bridge to Avenue 105 in Busaiteen, promising to ease traffic and boost connectivity.

Project’s Goal Explained

This project is a key part of the Muharraq Ring Road development and the Fourth Bridge initiative. Its main goal is to make traffic flow better and improve the roads and other infrastructure in the Muharraq Governorate.

Dual-Lane Flyover Announced

The plan involves building a dual-lane flyover in each direction. This will help direct traffic from Manama, using the Shaikh Isa bin Salman Bridge, onto the Muharraq Ring Road along Avenue 105 in Busaiteen.

Smoother Travel

The new flyover will also make it easier to travel from the Ring Road towards Muharraq city. Following the Muharraq Ring Road’s opening in late 2024, this improvement is set to reduce traffic problems between Manama and Muharraq.

Congestion Concerns Addressed

The bridge is expected to improve connections between the capital and Muharraq, as well as nearby areas like Busaiteen, Al Sayah, and Diyar Al Muharraq. It should also help with the traffic jams at the Shaikh Isa bin Salman Bridge and Al Ghous Street junction.

The Ministry of Works is asking everyone on the road to work together by paying attention to the detour signs and traffic directions. This will help keep everyone safe during construction!
