Last night, Bahrain erupted in celebration as McLaren’s Oscar Piastri clinched a stunning victory at the 2025 Bahrain Grand Prix!

The event not only marked a significant milestone for McLaren but also showed off Bahrain’s vibrant spirit and love for motorsports.​

McLaren takes home the trophy

Starting from pole position, Oscar Piastri dominated the race from start to finish, securing McLaren’s first-ever win at the Bahrain International Circuit. He finished 15.5 seconds ahead of Mercedes’ George Russell, with his teammate Lando Norris taking third place after a remarkable recovery from a five-second penalty.

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince and Prime Minister Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa awarded Piastri with the champion’s trophy, in a moment of national pride.
