Mark your calendars, folks… Starting from February 18, 2026, the toll fees for private cars will officially be seeing an update. What used to be the familiar BD2.5 per crossing is set to become BD3.5.
This official announcement from the King Fahad Causeway Authority confirmed the new rate recently. For years, travelers have been accustomed to the long-standing BD2.5 fee, making those spontaneous trips between Bahrain and Saudi Arabia a breeze. Now, with the new BD3.5 charge, it’s a slight bump that everyone needs to be aware of well in advance of February 18, 2026.
