His Majesty King Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa just warmly received Syrian president Ahmad Al-Shar’a at Sakhir Palace, marking an official visit to strengthen ties.

The meeting highlighted the continued cooperation and mutual respect between the two nations, setting the stage for deeper discussions on regional stability and bilateral interests.

The president received a warm welcome

Upon his arrival at Sakhir palace, President Al-Shar’a was greeted with a warm reception, with senior Bahraini officials extending their welcome. His Majesty the King personally welcomed the members of the Syrian delegation accompanying the president, reinforcing the cordial atmosphere of the visit.

The meeting occurred with his Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, also in attendance.

HM expressed sincere wishes for the Syrian people

His Majesty expressed his sincere wishes for President Al-Shar’a’s success in meeting the aspirations of the Syrian people, reaffirming the strong bonds between the two countries. He reiterated the importance of their enduring relationship and hoped for continued progress and prosperity for Syria!

President Al-Shar’a also conveyed his gratitude and appreciation to His Majesty the King for the generous hospitality and warm reception, acknowledging Bahrain’s supportive position toward Syria and its people. He applauded Bahrain’s consistent backing and emphasized the importance of this support for their ongoing stability and development.

Bilateral ties and regional issues were discussed

Following the talks, His Majesty the King hosted a luncheon in honor of President Al-shar’a and his accompanying delegation!
