LMRA Conducts Over 1,300 Inspection Campaigns

The Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) ramped up its efforts between this month, conducting a whopping 1,324 inspection campaigns and visits this past week. These efforts led to the apprehension of 14 workers found in violation of regulations, and the subsequent deportation of 167 individuals.

This means that over 500 people have already been deported this month!

A number of violations were tracked

The inspection blitz didn’t just lead to arrests; it also uncovered several violations of Bahrain’s regulatory laws, where officials made sure to take the appropriate legal steps in response to each of the violations found

Detailed campaigns have been ongoing in Bahrain

The Authority detailed that the significant inspections visit targeted various shops across all governorates. Alongside these, 13 joint inspection campaigns were conducted, including eight in the Capital Governorate, one in Muharraq Governorate, one in the Northern Governorate, and three in the Southern Governorate over the past week.

Several government bodies joined forces for this effort, including the NPRA, Police Directorate, Coast Guard Headquarters, Ministry of Industry and Commerce, and the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture.
