The rise in public transport usage
Statistics from the Ministry of Transport and Communications reveal that Bahrain’s public transportation system is witnessing a major boost in passenger numbers. Last month alone, there were over a million passengers, with an average of 33,848 people using buses every day.
Over 105 million passengers since 2015
When looking at data from February 2015 to April 2025, the total number of passengers recorded has surpassed an incredible 105 million. This milestone highlights the sustained growth of Bahrain’s public transportation system and its important role in daily commutes for residents and visitors alike!
