These Bahraini Freedivers Have Just Set National Records In Dahab

Bahrain’s freediving squad, who are already hitting waves early 2025, just literally made a big splash internationally!

This team, made up of Mohammed Al-Harmi, Reham Sayed, Hussain Sardar, and Bassam Sabt, jumped into complete action at the Dahab Freediving Championship in Egypt. The event was hosted by the Egyptian Diving and Rescue Federation, where Reham Sayed also became the first woman from Bahrain EVER to compete, marking a truly historic moment!

They faced strong competition, but also showcased their preparation and dedication on an international stage, all whilst repping Bahrain!

There were record breaking performances

During the championship, Reham Sayed impressively secured 4 National Records on her own. The entire team, including Reham, Hussain, and Bassam, collectively achieved 8 additional National Records. These 12 new records highlight the team’s exceptional skill and rapid development in the sport over the years!

These significant accomplishments truly underscore Bahrain’s growing prominence in the world of freediving.
