Four swimmers have made history by completing the epic Bahrain Swim Challenge –\u00a0Abdulla Atiya, Fatima Al Mahmeed, Mariam Bin Laden, and Donaldson Andrew swam an incredible 180 kilometres around the entire island, surpassing their original 170km target.<\/p>\n
Their achievement was celebrated at a medal ceremony held at Sofitel Bahrain Zallaq Thalassa Sea and Spa, attended by His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, Chairman of the General Sports Authority, and President of the Bahrain Olympic Committee.<\/p>\n
