Lebanon’s ISF Foils International Cocaine Smuggling In Kesrouan!
Lebanon’s Internal Security Forces just caught two Nigerian men in Kesrouan who were part of a major cocaine smuggling operation. The drugs came all the way from Nigeria, through Ethiopia, and into Lebanon.
A Risky Smuggling Method
The men had swallowed 156 capsules of pure cocaine (about 3.4 kg), planning to get them out later and hand them to a local dealer.
Hotel Stop Gone Wrong
Once they landed in Beirut, they checked into a hotel in Kesrouan to recover the drugs from their bodies. But investigators were already on their trail.
Half a Million Dollar Haul
The ISF caught them in the act, seizing all the capsules. The stash was worth more than $500,000 on the street.
