Summer is finally here, and Lebanon’s private beaches are getting back into the swing of things, hoping for a busy season after a rough year. But while some beach clubs kept their prices the same, others raised them—leaving beachgoers curious about what a day by the sea will cost this year.
Beach owners are crossing their fingers for a busy season after the recent economic challenges caused by the conflict. Many are feeling hopeful that things will bounce back to how they used to be. While a few beach clubs stuck to last year’s entrance fees, others raised prices—usually by around $5 to $10 more.
The cost of a beach day really depends on where you go. Based on industry estimates, entrance fees this year range from as low as $5 to as high as $40. That wide range shows the contrast between affordable public beaches and the more upscale, resort-style spots.
