A Historic Bronze at the Dream Nations Cup

The Dream Nations Cup is an international event for up-and-coming hockey teams. Lebanon’s women showed everyone they belong on this stage by earning a bronze medal, proving they can compete at a high level and making a memorable mark in hockey history.

Growth Fueled by the Lebanese Diaspora

Since starting in 2018, the team has grown a lot thanks to the Lebanese diaspora. Many players live in countries like Canada, the US, and Mexico, but they still passionately represent Lebanon on the ice, helping the team reach new heights.

A Goalie Who Made the Difference

Marguerite Cordahi, Lebanon’s goalie, was a star in the semifinal against Puerto Rico. She stopped 28 out of 30 shots, playing a huge role in helping the team advance to the bronze medal game.

Securing the Medal with a Winning Performance

Lebanon’s women officially made their mark by beating Puerto Rico 4-2 to win bronze. Stephanie Sabaliauskas stood out with an amazing game, earning MVP honors and leading the team to this historic victory.
