General Security Recruitment Details
- Dates: December 16–20, 2024
- Location: Da’irat al-Mir’ab, Corniche El-Nahr, Beirut
- Timings: 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
- Submission Process: Applications must be submitted in person, following an alphabetical schedule based on the applicant’s last name.
Lebanese Army Recruitment Criteria
- Applicants for specialist officer roles must meet the following requirements:
- Citizenship: Must be a Lebanese citizen for at least 10 years.
- Health: Must be in good health and physically strong.
- Clean Record: Must have no felonies, dishonorable misdemeanors, or imprisonment exceeding six months (including expunged or pardoned offenses).
- Behavior: Must exhibit good moral character and abstain from alcohol, drug abuse, or gambling.
- Eligibility: Applicants disqualified for cheating in past Ministry of Defense exams are not eligible.
- Commitment: Candidates must sign a service contract for a specified duration.
- Independence: Upon appointment, ties with political parties, associations, or unions must be severed.
Age Requirements by Specialty
- Captain Trainee Doctor:
- Maximum Age: 36 years (as of July 1, 2025)
- Specialties: Orthopedic Surgery, Urology, Dermatology, Neurology, Cardiology, and others.
- First Lieutenant Trainee Doctor (Public Health):
- Maximum Age: 32 years (as of July 18, 2025)
- Second Lieutenant Trainee (Dentist, Pharmacist, Engineer):
- Maximum Age: 30 years (as of July 1, 2025)
- Specialties: Dentistry, Pharmacy, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
