Lebanon’s Natural Reserves Are Open For Free On This Sunday

On the occasion of the National Day of Nature Reserves, Environment Minister Nasser Yassin announced that “nature reserves will open their doors free of charge on Sunday, March 10, 2024, for nature lovers, students, clubs, associations, and individuals wishing to discover Lebanon’s nature.”

The following reserves are ready to welcome visitors at this time of the year: Arz El Chouf, Tannourine Cedars Forest Nature Reserve, Horsh Ehden, Bentael, Shouf Biosphere Reserve, Tyre Coast Nature Reserve, Al Yamouna, and Mount Moussa Biosphere Reserve.

The Ministry of Environment and reserve committees have compiled a list of activities and events for various natural reserves in Lebanon to celebrate National Day.

These events span throughout the week and include inviting students from schools and universities to visit the natural reserves.
