Lebanese thrill-seekers are no strangers to pushing boundaries and embarking on challenging adventures. Many of these courageous individuals have taken on daring journeys to conquer some of the world’s most iconic and towering peaks.

In a recent venture, five Lebanese climbers, including: Kamal Ibrahim, Nader Assi, Hanna Hajjar, Ramzi Asbahan, and George Al Shater, achieved an extraordinary feat by reaching the summit of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, towering at 5,895 meters above sea level.

At the summit, they proudly raised the Lebanese flag, symbolizing their deep national pride and unwavering determination.

Despite facing extreme weather, fierce winds, and challenging terrain, the team demonstrated remarkable teamwork and resilience. They trained in Lebanon and prepared for the seven-day trek to Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania’s tallest peak and the continent’s loftiest mountain.

Their exceptional triumph not only showcases the unyielding Lebanese spirit but also serves as a potent source of inspiration for all aspiring adventurers.
