The arrest of former Lebanese Central Bank Governor Riad Salameh yesterday made big waves across Lebanon’s political and judicial scenes.

Salameh was taken into custody in Beirut after a three-hour grilling by the prosecutor general over allegations that he stole more than $40 million from the Central Bank of Lebanon.

Once the news broke, Lebanese social media exploded with hilarious reactions, with some people considering it just a show that will end soon.
