After rocking crowds all over the world, DJ and Portuguese Catholic priest Padre Guilherme is coming to Lebanon for the very first time. Some fans are racing to grab tickets, while others just don’t seem impressed.
The concert has stirred controversy, with many people uncomfortable seeing a priest spin techno tracks while dressed in his clerical outfit—and even mixing church hymns into the set.

So far, 18 people have signed a petition to cancel the performance, saying that a priest performing in a nightclub is crossing the line.
Online reactions are all over the place. Some people are loving the idea and praising Padre Guilherme’s unique style, while others are strongly opposed to it.
