This Elderly Woman Brings Hope Amidst Tensions in South Lebanon

In the midst of tensions in south Lebanon, there is an elderly woman named Adiba Finch, also known as Em Nader, who has chosen to remain in her hometown in Ad-Dahira village, defying the circumstances and providing reassurance to the people around her.

Despite the ongoing shelling, she continues to bake traditional Lebanese bread, known as “marqouq,” on the hot griddle called “saj,” inviting everyone to come and enjoy it.
