It was a night of cheers and celebrations for Lebanese-Americans in Michigan, as two big wins lit up the mayoral elections! The energy was electric, with supporters chanting and congratulating their favorites in Dearborn Heights and Dearborn.

Mo Baydoun won the mayoral race in Dearborn Heights

The crowd went wild as Mo Baydoun, the Lebanese-American candidate from Bint Jbeil, was officially elected as the new mayor of Dearborn Heights.

Abdullah Hammoud re-elected in Dearborn

Not far away, Dearborn voters decided to stick with what they know and re-elected Abdullah Hammoud as their mayor. His supporters were just as pumped, celebrating another term for their favorite mayor.
