Fairuz’s Iconic “Nassam Alayna El Hawa” Enters Billboard Arabia!
Fairuz’s iconic song “Nassam Alayna El Hawa” has made it onto the Billboard Arabia charts, 57 years after its release, securing the 50th spot.
The song, which is written by the Rahbani Brothers, poignantly reflects Fairuz’s longing for her homeland, particularly through the recurring line “Khedny Aala Bladi,” which has cemented its place in collective memory.
By reaching the Top 50, “Nassam Alayna El Hawa” has surpassed Fairuz’s previous hit, “Kifak Inta,” which she released in 1991 and held the record.
Fairuz continues to make a significant impact, remaining the only artist from her generation to hold a spot on the Billboard 100 Artists list since the Arabic charts launched in late 2023.
