Lebanon has received 32 tons of medical supplies and medicines from the World Health Organization (WHO) to enhance the health sector’s preparedness for any potential war escalation.
Health Minister Firas Abiad accepted the donation at Beirut’s Rafic Hariri International Airport, with WHO representative Abdel Nasser Abu Bakr in attendance.

Abiad expressed gratitude to the WHO for the aid and urged the organization to apply pressure on Israel to cease its attacks.
Abu Bakr reaffirmed the WHO’s commitment to supporting Lebanon’s health sector during this difficult time.
