Air traffic at Beirut International Airport recorded a 12.24% increase in the number of passengers traveling to and from Lebanon in 2023, accounting for a total of 7,127,649 passengers, compared with 6,349,967 passengers in 2022.

Lebanon experienced a 11.51% increase in arrivals, a 13% increase in departures, and a 35.5% decrease in transit passengers from 9,085 in 2022 to 5,857.
July was the month with the highest number of passengers, reaching 924,000 travelers, corresponding to a year-by-year increase of 12.14%, while August recorded the highest number of departures, with 533,947 passengers compared with 475,107 in August 2022, an increase of 12.38%.
In 2023, Beirut airport saw a 9.12% increase in flights by national, Arab, and foreign airlines, with 28,574 flights to Lebanon and 28,585 flights departing from Lebanon.
