Beirut Sets A Limit On Valet Parking Fees!

Beirut’s valet scene finally got some rules. The Ministry of Interior and Tourism stepped in and set clear limits to stop random pricing and overcharging across the city.

There’s Now a Price Cap

From now on, valet parking can’t cost more than 400,000 LBP, which is roughly $4 to $4.50. Whether you’re grabbing a quick coffee or staying out for a long dinner, that’s the maximum you should be paying.

Receipts Are Not Optional

Valet drivers must give you a receipt. If they don’t, or if they ask for more than 400,000 LBP, they’re breaking the law. No exceptions, no excuses.

What You Should Do

Always keep your ticket and double check the amount you’re charged. If something feels off, it probably is. These rules are there to protect drivers and customers alike.
