FIFA President Gianni Infantino just made it official – he’s now proudly Lebanese! Visiting the Ministry of Interior in Beirut, he couldn’t hide his joy, saying he was “very proud and very happy” to be there. And of course, he declared, “I love Lebanon,” showing everyone just how much the country means to him.

Infantino has always had a special connection to Lebanon through his wife, Lina Al-Ashkar. Now, that personal tie has turned into an official status, making him part of the Lebanese family in every way. From citizenship granted by the President to now holding the blue passport, it’s been a heartwarming journey.
