Germany Supports Internally Displaced Persons In Lebanon!

Germany’s Development Minister Svenja Schulze, during her visit to Lebanon, pledged an additional €60 million to support basic services for displaced people in Lebanon and Syrian refugees.
The ministry praised the community kitchen Schulze visited as a “testament to the strong dedication of Lebanon’s civil society.

Meanwhile, the minister visited a school that serves as both a teaching facility, which reopened on Nov. 4, and an emergency shelter for internally displaced people from southern Lebanon.
The ministry announced an additional €60 million to expand projects in Lebanon and Syria, including learning centers for displaced children and psychosocial support for traumatized youth.
In total, the ministry is providing 148.31 million euros to support the people of Lebanon this year,” the ministry finally said.
