Here’s How The World Reacted To The Ceasefire Agreement!

World leaders have welcomed a ceasefire deal between Israel and Hezbollah, which came into force on Wednesday morning.

Here are the reactions from around the world:

U.S. President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron affirmed that the Israel-Lebanon ceasefire would protect Israel from Hezbollah and foster “lasting calm,” while committing to ensuring its implementation and supporting the Lebanese army.

Chinese Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning highlighted China’s support for efforts to ease tensions and foster peace and praised the ceasefire agreement reached by the involved parties.

Qatar’s foreign ministry issued a statement welcoming the ceasefire agreement in Lebanon and expressing hope that it will pave the way for a similar agreement to end the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip and Israeli assaults on the occupied West Bank.

Jordan’s foreign ministry described the ceasefire as “an important step” and called for an international effort to end the aggression in the Gaza Strip and Israeli attacks on the occupied West Bank.

Saudi Arabia welcomed the ceasefire and praised the countries involved in negotiating it, particularly the U.S. and France, for their international efforts, as stated by the foreign ministry.
