ISF Launches Night Campaign Against Illegal Motorbikes In Beirut And Mount Lebanon

Diana E.

The Internal Security Forces (ISF) launched a ‘night campaign’ yesterday to check motorcycle riders in Beirut and Mount Lebanon for valid registration and licenses to help reduce crime.

Every evening from 6 p.m., the ISF will set up checkpoints to limit motorcycle use and catch those without proper documents.

The ISF clarified that this campaign isn’t meant to target people displaced by the Israel-Hezbollah conflict, as many of them rely on motorcycles for getting around.
