Israeli Airstrikes In Southern Lebanon Kill Lebanese Soldiers
Lebanon’s military said three soldiers were killed and five others seriously injured in separate Israeli drone strikes in southern Lebanon.
Earlier Attack Leaves Another Soldier Dead
The army had earlier reported that another soldier died from wounds sustained in a strike targeting a car and a motorcycle in the same area. The attack also injured four other people.
President Condemns ‘Flagrant Violation’
Lebanese President Joseph Aoun described the killing of soldiers and civilians as a “flagrant violation of international and humanitarian law,” accusing Israel of undermining the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF).
Rising Casualties Across Lebanon
According to Lebanese authorities, at least 912 people have been killed and 2,221 injured in Israeli strikes across Lebanon since March 2.
