Italy has reaffirmed its commitment to Lebanon with the launch of nine humanitarian emergency projects worth €5.4 million, aimed at addressing critical needs stemming from the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
The Italian Embassy in Beirut announced new initiatives funded by Italian Cooperation under a €28M framework to mitigate the Israel-Hezbollah conflict’s impact and support Lebanese institutions.

The projects focus on essential services like WASH, protection, food security, housing, and basic care, prioritizing vulnerable groups.
The Italian ambassador to Lebanon, Fabrizio Marcelli, emphasized that the new projects are a direct response to the growing needs of those affected by the conflict, reaffirming Italy’s unwavering support for Lebanon and its people.
Over 300,000 people across Lebanon are expected to benefit from these interventions.
