After a year and a half of suspension, the vehicle registration center in Jounieh partially reopened limited services, according to the Road Traffic and Vehicles Authority.

The center, located in Kesrouan district, will be open from Tuesday to Thursday each week to process applications in ascending order based on the last digit of license plates, starting with “0,” and working at a rate determined by the center’s capacities, the department statement says.

The following services will be available:

• Vehicle ownership transfer

• Registration of previously inspected vehicles

• Decommissioning

• Recommissioning and registration under a new owner

• Mortgage discharge

• Renewal of expired driving licenses

• Lifting of seizure

• Completion of transactions that were already underway.
