Lebanese Army Raids Nahr AL Bared Camp For Drug Trafficking

Tension has surged in the Nahr AL Bared Palestinian camp following a Lebanese Army raid aimed at apprehending individuals involved in drug trafficking.

Reports indicate that the suspects fired at the Army, which responded by sealing off all entrances and exits to the camp to prevent movement.

The operation sparked anger among camp residents, prompting the Lebanese Army to deploy additional reinforcements to manage potential security challenges.

In a later statement, the Lebanese Army confirmed the arrest of the suspect, J.A., despite facing resistance including stone-throwing and warning shots.

The statement continued, saying that the operation involved searching the suspects’ homes. Investigations are ongoing under judicial supervision.
