Lebanese Army Receives A Donation From Germany
In a significant show of solidarity, Germany has generously extended a donation worth two million Euros (2.1 million U.S. dollars). to the Lebanese Army. This assistance includes crucial provisions such as fuel and medical supplies.
The formal agreement was signed on Thursday between Army Commander General Joseph Aoun and German Ambassador to Lebanon, Kurt Georg Stoeckl-Stillfried, at the Ministry of Defense in Yarze.
The move aims to support the Army amid regional instability and the current stage of tensions in south Lebanon.
