Lebanon’s Government Calls For Immediate Investigation After Power Outage!
The Lebanese prime minister, Najib Mikati, has requested the head of the Central Inspection Authority to conduct an immediate investigation into the total power outage.
In his letter, Mikati urged a thorough inquiry involving all relevant individuals, without exception, to determine the causes and assign legal responsibility based on the investigation’s findings.
This move comes after the country experienced a full electricity blackout over the weekend due to running out of fuel for its power plants.
