Price Index Commission In Lebanon Approves Increase In Transport Costs

The Price Index Committee met under the chairmanship of Minister of Labor Moustapha Bayram, who announced that it had agreed to approve an increase in private sector transport expenses for workers from 250,000 LBP to 450,000 LBP per day.

Employers discussed the economic situation in Gaza, highlighting the war’s impact and regional tension, and Bayram announced a steady pace for the committee’s meetings.
