Suspect Arrested For Murdering Car Showroom Owner In Dbayeh

A horrific crime occurred in the Dbayeh area, north of Beirut, when a suspect, pretending to buy a car, entered an auto showroom, shot the owner Georges Roukoz, and killed him instantly before stealing a Mercedes G-Class and fleeing the scene.

Within four hours of the crime, security forces identified and arrested Ali Hassan Aoun, born in 2005, from Shabriha in South Lebanon.

A coordinated effort between the Information Branch and South Investigation led to a well-planned ambush in a southern town. Following his capture, Aoun was transferred to the Antelias Division for further legal proceedings.

Georges Roukoz’s name is trending in Lebanon as people commend the security forces for swiftly arresting his killer, expressing shock at how someone so young could commit such a crime.
