Lebanese tennis player Hadi Habib made history by winning the Temuco Challenger in Chile, becoming the first-ever Lebanese player to claim an ATP Challenger title.
In a thrilling final, Habib defeated Argentina’s Camilo Ugo Carabelli in a closely contested match that showcased his determination and skill.
This victory also earned Lebanon its first entry on the Challenger Tour’s list of 85 nations with singles title winners.
With this triumph, the 26-year-old secured a spot in the 2024 Australian Open qualifiers and gained 99 ATP ranking points, climbing 104 spots to World No. 216.

His path to the title included wins over top players like Argentina’s Gonzalo Villanueva, Chile’s Matias Soto, and Brazil’s Joao Lucas Reis da Silva.
