Lebanon’s national basketball team came out swinging at the Beirut Cup, lighting up the court and grabbing a big win over Iran on Thursday night. That’s two straight wins and the energy was off the charts!
From the first few minutes, Lebanon took charge with smooth passes, fast breaks, and killer shots. They set the pace early and never looked back.
Amir Saoud led the show with 25 points and 5 assists. Dedric Lawson wasn’t far behind with 23 points and all-around hustle. Gerard Hadidian owned the paint, while Sergio El Darwich brought the heat on both ends.
Lebanon dominated the stats more rebounds, better free throws, and solid teamwork. Even with average three-point shooting, they stayed sharp and outplayed Iran in every key area.
A big night for Lebanese basketball and the fans definitely felt it!
