The Lebanese women’s track and field team won the silver medal at the 26th Arab Cross-Country Championships in Jordan, with the participation of nine Arab countries.
The Cedar women’s national team finished second in the race, with Morocco taking first place and Jordan coming in third in the 10 km event.
The Lebanese women’s team consisted of Joan Makary with a time of 40:02.6 minutes, Nada Al-Kurdi at 41:51.7 minutes, Karen Chreim at 43:07.1 minutes, Loaa Zaarour at 43:59.1 minutes, Jennifer Tommaso at 44:33.0 minutes, and Serena Al-Hayek at 44:53.9 minutes.
