At 5,642 meters, Elbrus is the highest peak in Europe and part of the challenging Caucasus Mountains.

Mount Elbrus, a dormant volcano in Kabardino-Balkaria near the Georgia border, boasts extreme conditions.

Summer temperatures can drop to -20°C, while winter temperatures fall to -40°C. The combination of thin air and rugged terrain makes climbing it a serious challenge.
