The U.S. government, via USAID, has allocated over $67 million in emergency humanitarian aid for vulnerable communities in Lebanon, totaling $157 million since the start of fiscal year 2023.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This\u00a0funding enables the United Nations World Food Programme to provide monthly food aid to over 500,000 individuals, including 200,000 Lebanese citizens.<\/div>\n

Additionally, USAID partners will continue providing healthcare services to 141,000 people through clinics and home healthcare.<\/div>\n

Despite effective aid efforts, escalating needs exceed available resources, underscoring the need for additional support.<\/div>\n

USAID urges other donors to join in addressing Lebanon’s urgent humanitarian needs to prevent further deterioration of the situation.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
