Beirut International Airport (BIA) saw its highest traffic of the year in June 2024. Despite this peak, the numbers still fell short of those from June 2023, marking a slight annual decline of 0.25%.<\/p>\n

Beirut airport records modest flight increase in June<\/h2>\n

The number of flights handled at BIA in June also saw a small increase of 0.3% year-over-year, reaching 5,509 flights. This included 2,751 flights arriving in Beirut and 2,758 departing.<\/p>\n

Passenger traffic at Beirut airport in June<\/h2>\n

In June, BIA recorded 707,201 passengers arriving and departing, compared to 708,970 in the same month last year. Arrivals to Lebanon decreased by 5% to 406,396 passengers, while departures increased by 7.13% to 300,362 passengers. The number of transit passengers dropped significantly by 41%, totaling just 443.<\/p>\n
