Lebanon\u2019s Minister of Education, Abbas Halabi, announced that the academic year will officially begin on Monday, November 4, 2024.<\/p>\n

Private schools can choose remote learning if they have the resources, but they are responsible for in-person classes. Halabi also called on them to reconsider tuition fees.<\/p>\n

He confirmed that classes at the Lebanese University will stay suspended due to the crisis, which has affected both public and private schools, with many being used as shelters.<\/p>\n
